HAJJ SEASON 1438/ 2017

*Valuable Advice When Going for Hajj*

  • Don’t forget to pray two rakaate before you leave your house.
  • Write the important will to your family.
  • Read the doua of travelling.
  • Remember that you are going for Hajj, it is the firth pillar of Islam therefore it must be taken seriously.
  • Upon arrival at Jeddah Airport, there are a number of procedures that our team need to follow to ensure swift departure from the Airport by bus coaches to drop us at our hotel in Makkah. The Expected waiting time can vary, however we would advise that an average of 5 hours is needed to leave the Airport. Hajj is a form of Jihad, therefore you will find a lot of difficulties throughout your journey and while you are in the holy lands. You have to prepare for that and remain patient from the minute you land in the busy airport of Saudi Arabia until you return home safely insha Allah
  • It is very important that you stick with the group at all times, if you wish to use the bathroom in the airport or when the group is performing Umrah etc, you must notify one of our staff so as to not cause any delays if someone is missing and the staff is unaware of this person.
  • When you arrive in the airport in Jeddah, you will arrive with millions of people from around the world.  You are going to be tested with the first test.  Maybe you have to wait for hours to process your passport or you will meet with rude people outside, etc. BE PATIENT! Remember that Shaitan, will come to you and will encourage you to be angry, or say bad words, hoping that your Hajj will be destroyed by that. It will be easy to be angry because you will be tired and have not got enough sleep. So be Aware that you don’t lose your temper.  Remember that you have already spent a lot of money and energy for this journey of a lifetime.
  • Upon arrival to Makkah, our Management team leaders will take each group to the Haram to perform their Umrah. However, any free you have use it to your advantage and make use of every minute. We sincerely advise you to use your time wisely and use the opportunity of free time to make a lot of dhikr, doua & reciting the Qur’an while you are on the plane, on the road, in the Harams, or even if you are just relaxing in the hotel.
  • Please respect the hotel breakfast & dinner times, hotel room assignments, departure times for buses going to haram (this will be communicated to you by our staff) and most importantly please respect all instructions of the staff and Management Team and be patient with them all the hard work and efforts they have done and are continuously doing.
  • Remember that if you compare the difficulties of those people before you, a long time ago when they made hajj, we have it very easy. It took the people months or years to get to Makkah, that is if they made it there alive.  No transportation, no Air Conditioning and sometimes even something as simple to us as water, was not available in the scorching deserts of Arabia.
  • The most important thing is to remember that your goal is to have your Hajj accepted and to be forgiven for all of your sins.  To do that, you have to busy yourself in ibadah (worship).  Don’t worry about what you see wrong from other Muslims, try to worry about what you do and whether Allah will accept your Performance and your Hajj.

Wishing you a Hajj Mabroor, Saaee Mashkur & Dhanb Maghfoor. May Allah (SWT) accept your Hajj pilgrimage and also from all of us. Please do not forget us in your duaa.
